Bilforon is a marketplace application for empowering women in the home-food business. Our application connects home-chefs with users to help the women increase their sales and the customers eat healthy and delicious home-cooked food. Bilforon selected the best 200 home-chefs from over 5,000 applications. Our home-chefs receive advanced training and continue hygiene and kitchen safety inspections to ensure high-quality assurance standards. Since 2016, Bilforon has helped home-chefs generate over $400K in revenue from individual customers and corporate customers such as the World Bank, Arab Bank, Zain, Columbia Global Centre, and the European Bank. Bilforon also received over $600K in funding from local and global investors and Non-governmental organizations, and it will start expanding geographically to other MENA countries in 2020.
