Sharqi Shop is an online marketplace that enables artisans in Jordan to sell handicrafts online, by providing them with all the backup they need. In order to provide a great experience to online shoppers, our team does photo sessions, writing descriptions, marketing, logistics, and payment facilitating. Sharqi Shop is also connecting artisans with professional product designers through the platform, in order to develop more appealing items to the market. We were first inspired by Syrian artisans who moved from the old town in Damascus and struggling to find sales channels for their handicrafts items. Currently, we have 400 items on our platform, made by 60 artisans, half of them are Syrian refugees. We have already made more than $ 150 K in sales, and paid to artisans around $110 K.
