The goal of this project is to provide an engineering solution, to develop safe patient transfer from bed to bed, bed to stretcher, or bed to operating table. Having a lateral transfer assist device will assist the patient handler to reduce the physical demand required during the transfer activities, and will give a good and safe body posture for both patient handler and patient.
